Welcome to the Almhütte Gorgasser, in the middle of the high Tauern. Our hut is located on the beautiful Apriacher Alm, a district of Heiligenblut am Großglockner. Enjoy the magnificent views of several 3000s, including the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain.
The hut is located at about 1800 meters altitude and easily accessible by car about 20 minutes from Heiligenblut. Four bedrooms can accommodate the whole family.

Instead of pressing the one light switch, light a candle.
The hot water does not come from the tap, but the fresh clear spring water must first be erwährmt on the wood stove.
Of course you have to heat the wood stove yourself first, and you can listen to the soothing crackle of the fire, the firewood is of course included in the price.
In the evening you sit in front of the hut, and look at the beautiful starry sky where you can also barbecue, the grill is available.
Bed linen, hand-bath towels, as well as for tea towels and dishes is provided.
