In summer, climbing enthusiasts enjoy the Engelswand rock face while the Oetz outdoor swimming pool or lake Piburger see promises refreshing moments. Umhausen boasts shops, restaurants, the Ötzi Village, the Birds of Prey Park and the Stuiben Falls - Tirol's biggest waterfall. In winter, the (free) skibus stops at approx. 150 m (main road). The top ski resort of Sölden is about 20 km away, the family-friendly Hochoetz ski region can be reached in about 10 km. A petrol station with small grocery shop is just 2 walking minutes away.
