After his ski career during the 70ies Poldl Gruber started his gastronomy career. Together with Uschi he built up the "Sportalm". At the beginning the "Sportalm" was a restaurant, later it became a pension and apartment
house too. Continuous improvement brought more and more guests.
The "Sportalm" is situated in the centre of St. Oswald - next to the cable car Brunnach, several ski slopes and the ski school. Our summer guests can make use of our idyllic lawn for sunbathing Sportalm" winter guests take advantage of the convenient location of the house. The ski school, ski kindergarten and several ski lifts and slopes are right next to the house
We also have a herb garden, a sun terrace and a children's playground.
Everyone who visits St. Oswald and asks for a good meal will sooner or later arrive at the Sportalm. The Grubers are well known for their hospitality and cuisine. The apartments invite you to relax. Comfortable rooms with a lot of woods create a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are
decorated in a lovely country style, they are equipped with SAT-TV, a kitchenette, two bedrooms, living room, a bathroom with bathtub or shower and an extra restroom. The rooms as well as towels are cleaned every third day. Bed linen is cleaned weekly
