In the midst of the Hohe Tauern on the old "Glockner road", about 4 km away from Heiligenblut, which is newly renovated and cozy cabin. The hut is located in a quiet location at 1800 meters altitude and offers summer and winter, place up to 10 people. The access road is open year-round partly asphalt and partly gravel road accessible by car (in winter snow chains necessary). In winter for good skiers the entrance to the lifts and back to the hut is possible. There are beautiful hiking trails of the refuge that are suitable for smaller children.
